A familiar favorite is putting down roots in Tampa’s Downtown. Tampa Bay-based Engrained Apparel is set to open its first brick-and-mortar location at Sparkman Wharf this summer, marking an exciting milestone for the locally owned brand known for its Tampa-inspired apparel and designs.
Following a successful run at Nimble at Spark Square, Engrained Apparel will make Water Street its permanent home, offering a collection of locally designed t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and accessories that celebrate the spirit of Downtown and Tampa Bay. The location will open near Hampton Chocolate Factory.
The dining scene of Tampa’s Downtown continues to grow with the addition of La Victoria, a new coastal Mexican restaurant expected to open this September near the Riverwalk. The restaurant will occupy the ground floor of the AVE Tampa Riverwalk apartment community at 105 W. Tyler Street, bringing another dining option to the rapidly evolving River Arts neighborhood.
Led by hospitality professionals Gus Thieken and Erick Felipe Meza, La Victoria will offer a menu inspired by Mexico’s coastal culinary traditions, with dishes expected to feature fresh seafood and classic favorites such as ceviche, chilaquiles, and tostadas, alongside a full-service bar. The restaurant takes over the space formerly occupied by Melting Pot Social and represents another investment in Downtown’s growing food and beverage landscape.

This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your offerings in a high-traffic, high-visibility environment and contribute to one of Tampa’s most cherished holiday traditions.
If you’re interested in being part of the 2026 Winter Village experience, we encourage you to review the RFP details and apply. Deadline is this Wednesday, June 10th.
