Thousands are expected to come to Tampa’s Downtown to celebrate Independence Day with Liberty by the Bay. People attending will be able to enjoy a day full of live entertainment, family activities, food vendors, and waterfront attractions. The event will end with a 250-drone light show and fireworks over the Hillsborough River in honor of America’s 250th anniversary.
Festivities will also include a patriotic pet showcase, a water ski performance, a children’s parade, and additional fireworks displays throughout the Downtown area. To help visitors enjoy the celebration car-free, Tampa Downtown Partnership will offer free bike valet service, making it easy for cyclists to securely park and explore the festivities. Liberty by the Bay takes place Saturday, July 4, from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park.
