Mixed-Use Redevelopment Planned for Stetson Law Center Site

A major redevelopment is being proposed for Stetson University’s Tampa Law Center in Tampa Heights, bringing a new mixed-use district to the edge of Tampa’s Downtown. Plans would introduce residential housing, office space, retail, dining, and a hotel while allowing the law school to remain fully operational throughout construction.

The vision also emphasizes stronger connections between Tampa Heights and the Riverwalk through a more walkable, pedestrian-friendly environment. If approved, the project would create hundreds of new residential units, expanded commercial space, and additional amenities designed to support the Downtown community. Developers anticipate breaking ground in late 2027.
