Local Ybor City mosaic artist, Maria Ortiz-Haynes, brings a vibrancy and complexity to her unique mosaic artwork. She uses hand-cut pieces of glass of different sizes and bright, bold colors that blend to create an overall fluid, painted effect. Ortiz-Haynes was inspired after a trip to Cuba in 2013 and became a self taught mosaicist.
