Tim Gibbons of Funky As A Monkey Art Studio and fourteen exhibiting artists will celebrate Hidden Springs Aleworks second anniversary through art in the upcoming exhibit, TWO YEARS OF BEERS IN ART, August 4-September 22. Opening reception is Saturday, August 5, 7-10 pm. The artists exhibiting their work run the gamut from abstract, realism, sci-fi, photographs, watercolors and acrylics. Exhibiting artists are Dorothy Banker, Rolando Bardaji, Tim Gibbons, David and Patricia Beebe, Erica Greskoviak, Kirstin Matteson, Dezii Morales, Goose Pekarek, Nicole S. SwirlArt, Jeff Scott, Jill Stack, Rachel Shorer and W.A.R., aka Willy Rivera. First time exhibitor Lori “Goose” Pekarek, will be exhibiting photographs from her world-wide travels, who shares her love of photography and far off places with fellow exhibiting photographer, David Beebe. Patricia Beebe will be exhibiting her talent by showcasing her unique views of shared travel experiences with husband, David Beebe. Erica Greskoviak, a UT student will exhibit her interesting portraiture and unique blend of art and collage. Dezii Morales will be displaying her lovely and intriguing abstracts. Kirstin’s artistic interpretations are created from personal experiences taken from her photographs which she then transforms into unique mixed media, utilizing semi-precious gemstone mosaics and acrylic paint. Nicole S. Swirlart treats viewers from the abstract to portraiture; Jill Stack celebrates nature with her delicate paintings of bird and animal life. Rachel Shorer is also an emerging artist, celebrating her first foray into the exhibition world. All art on exhibit is available for sale. The event is FREE and open to the public.
