The acclaimed, powerhouse Italian pop trio Il Volo returns to the United States to pay homage to their biggest inspiration, The Three Tenors, performing songs from their latest album, Notte Magica – A Tribute to The Three Tenors, which recently charted #1 on Billboard’s classical chart. The tour will be similar to the concert they filmed in Florence, at Italy’s famed Piazza di Santa Croce, which was the setting for their PBS special that aired this fall.
In just a few years, Il Volo has performed worldwide, released top-selling albums, toured with legendary songstress Barbra Streisand and taken the stage for four acclaimed PBS specials. The three young singers, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble always bring audiences their best live performances of pop and traditional English, Italian and Spanish songs, accompanied by symphony orchestras. The vocal group was discovered and are managed by Michele Torpedine, who also discovered and managed Andrea Bocelli.
