The Downtown Debriefing Series features eight breakfast events annually, focusing on important development issues that impact Downtown including topics such as the Downtown Residential Experience, High Speed Rail, Sustainability, Arts & Culture, Transportation Initiatives in Downtown, City of Tampa Updates and other important issues.

Summer:

When the temperatures rise, downtown merchants and restaurants offer some cool deals! The Summertime Savings Card is a "show your card and save" program. Launching each July and valid through Labor Day, businesses offer amazing discounts. Free food items, discounted admissions and specials available only to card holders are just some of the deals you will discover with a Summertime Savings Card. Cards are free and available throughout downtown Tampa. |

Established by the Tampa Downtown Partnership in 2008, the Tampa Downtown Market brings the farm to the city. Operating Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Tampa Downtown Market offers downtown workers, visitors and residents an opportunity to purchase unique crafts, fresh produce and explore downtown Tampa. The Downtown Tampa Urban Excellence Awards celebrate businesses, organizations, individuals, events and projects that have made significant contributions toward creating a unique, vibrant and diverse Downtown environment – and have made a lasting, positive impact on Downtown Tampa. Each year an Awards Jury representing a cross-section of Downtown constituencies selects six (6) Award Winners Honoring the leadership, innovation, hard work, talent and community spirit.

Speed, excitement and yes, a little blood….The 2nd annual Tampa Twilight Criterium and Festival will take place on Saturday, March 27, 2010 when the brick streets of downtown will transform into the venue for an exciting Criterium bike race. The bicycle race and accompanying festival will include 10 waves of amateur and professional races throughout the central business district.
