The Tampa Electric Company Downtown Debriefing Series Continues June 30th With "Moving Hillsborough Forward"

TAMPA, FL (June 24, 2010) – The Tampa Downtown Partnership will continue its highly popular Downtown Debriefing Series with a discussion about one of the most important local initiatives to be put before Hillsborough County voters in years – the transportation initiative.

Leading the charge on seeking passage of the November ballot initiative for transportation improvements is an organization called Moving Hillsborough Forward.  Campaign organizers will discuss the campaign and how passage will have a dramatic affect on economic development, mobility and job creation.

Speakers for Moving Hillsborough Forward are Mr. Stuart Rogel of Tampa Bay Partnership and Mr. Brett Milke of TRANSITion Tampa Bay.

This event is open to anyone who is interested. The event will take place, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the Tampa Club, located at 101 E. Kennedy Boulevard, 42nd floor in downtown Tampa.  The event will begin with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. followed by breakfast and presentations from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  Admission for Partnership members is $20.00, Partnership potential members $25.00.  Online registration is available.
