Tampa Downtown Partnership Releases Finding of Downtown Study

TAMPA, FL (April 27, 2011) – The Tampa Downtown Partnership released the findings of its 2010 Downtown Tampa Workforce-Resident Study

The Partnership originally initiated this study in 2008 in order to gain insight into how the downtown workforce and residential communities were engaging with various downtown amenities and businesses.  The Partnership set a goal of repeating the study every two years.  The 2010 study is an update to the original report.

The Partnership‘s 2010 Downtown Tampa Workforce-Resident Study  is a tool for developers, corporate relocation professionals, real estate professionals, retailers, restaurant owners and anyone else looking to invest in Tampa’s city center.

The downtown Tampa study was conducted for the Tampa Downtown Partnership by HCP & Associates, Inc., a downtown Tampa marketing and research firm.

Funding for the study was provided by the Special Services District assessment.

The Tampa Downtown Partnership is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)6 organization.  It is a membership organization comprised of companies, organizations and individuals with a common goal of advancing downtown Tampa.  Through an annual contract with the City of Tampa, the Tampa Downtown Partnership administers the Special Services District.  In addition to Tampa's Downtown Guides and Clean Team, the Tampa Downtown Partnership works to promote downtown through a multitude of initiatives including marketing, business development, transportation, planning and beautification.  For additional information about the Tampa Downtown Partnership visit www.tampasdowntown.com.
