President Obama and Vice President Biden to Visit Downtown Tampa

Tampa, FL (January 26, 2010) - President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will hold a town hall meeting at the University of Tampa’s Martinez Sports Center on North Boulevard this Thursday, Jan. 28.  It is the first appearance President Obama will make after delivering the State of the Union address on Wednesday evening.

The meeting will be free and open to the public, but tickets will be required.  Doors open at 10:30, and the event begins at 12:30.

Ticket distribution for the general public will be on Wednesday, Jan. 27 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Martinez Sports Center on a first-come, first-served basis.
