Gasparilla Festivities
This Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2:00 p.m., the Gasparilla Parade of the Pirates will begin with more than 90 floats, 14 marching bands, over 50 distinct Krewes! The parade begins at Bay to Bay Boulevard and Bayshore Boulevard and continues along Bayshore to Brorein Street, turns east on Brorein, then north on Ashley Drive. The parade ends at Cass Street & Ashley. This event is free to the public. For more information click here.
Park and Ride: HART is offering extra streetcar and bus service for a safe and easy way to get around during Gasparilla! The streetcar line will begin operations from Eighth Avenue and 20th Street (Centennial Park Station) in Ybor City and end at the Dick Greco Plaza in Downtown Tampa, just blocks away from Platt Street and Bayshore Boulevard - the heart of the Gasparilla Pirate Fest - and between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. there will be continuous service!
