Downtown Security Network Alert for November 03, 2009:
The following information has been provided to the Tampa Downtown Partnership by the FDLE and the Tampa Police Department for dissemination to the Downtown Security Network. The first contains important information associated with possible scam artists posing as officials obtaining information for the U.S. Census. The second relates to possible scams associated with charity giving.

The Downtown Security Network (DSN) is a partnership between the Tampa Police Department and the Tampa Downtown Partnership, with a database of more than 1600 citizens in downtown, serving as additional eyes and ears and sharing vital security information for the safety of Downtown Tampa. The DSN is a program of Downtown Tampa's Special Services District, operated and managed by the Tampa Downtown Partnership and funded through a special assessment.
