There are plenty of options to get around downtown Tampa. The historic streetcars are steadily gaining use as a means for downtown Tampa public transportation, and are a big bonus during major events.

Bus Routes

TECO Line Streetcar

Historic streetcars connecting historic Ybor City with Channel District and major downtown attractions. Rides are free. Service runs every 15 minutes on weekdays.

Pirate Water Taxi

Pay once, ride all day for a convenient and fun way to explore the city. Enjoy beautiful views as you cruise along the Tampa Riverwalk, Harbour Island and Channelside Districts.

Autonomous Vehicle (Smart AV)

HART SMART AV is Tampa Bay’s FIRST autonomous, electric shuttle. The FREE service operates every 15 minutes between HART’s Marion Transit Center and Whiting St./Marion St. in Downtown Tampa. HART SMART AV provides a first-mile, last-mile connection between HART bus service on the north end of Downtown and FREE TECO Line Streetcar service to historic Ybor City on the south end.
