Monthly Parking

Use the Interactive Map to search for parking options, cost and availability. The downtown parking inventory is updated quarterly, but call the owner/operators listed for the most accurate information.  Don't forget you can park on the perimeter and use the In-Town Trolley shuttle to get closer in.

The City of Tampa Parking Division offers a monthly on-street meter parking permit program.  For only $27/month, patrons can park at a meter anywhere within the Zone during the workweek.  The Zone is within Nebraska, Cumberland, Whiting and Walton.  For more information, visit the City of Tampa Parking Division.

Hourly Parking

All public parking garages have hourly parking available. Rates vary, but all are cheaper than getting an expired meter ticket. Check out our downtown parking inventory for hourly and daily parking options.

On Street Parking

We have more than 1,600 on-street parking spaces.  Meters north of Kennedy Blvd. are free on weekends and weeknights after 6pm. Between Whiting and Kennedy is enforced Mon.-Sat. 8am-8pm and Sun. 1 pm-8pm. Between Garrison Channel and Whiting is enforced Mon-Sat 8am-midnight. Rates vary. Change is available from Parking Enforcement Officers. 813-274-8417

Car Problems

Flat tire, dead car battery? Our Downtown Guides are here to help out “stranded motorists”.

Parking Safety

To reduce car break-ins and thefts anywhere, these guidelines are important and easy to follow. Save time and money for yourself- and the Tampa Police Department.

  • Lock your vehicles. Always lock car doors and windows when you exit a vehicle even for a few minutes.
  • Secure your valuables. Your car is a target any time purses, money, laptops, cell phones or other items are visible to passersby. Keep any valuables in your locked glove compartment or trunk.
  • Take your keys with you. Don't ever leave the key in the ignition or the motor running while you make a quick stop for coffee or mail.
